Suya is a personal photo journal. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how it is handled when you use the app.
We may collect information that you provide directly when using Suya, including account and profile information such as your nickname, profile photo, gender, and birthday.
If you choose to publish a post to the community square, we collect and store the content you submit, such as text, images, posting time, and the profile information necessary to display the post within the app.
When you publish a post to the community square, the content you choose to share may be visible to other users.
If you use the report feature, we may collect and store the report details you submit, including the reported post, report reason, account identifier, and report time.
If you use Suya's messaging, family, or group features, we may collect and process the content and related metadata needed to provide those features. This may include text messages, images, group or family identifiers, membership and application status, family profile information, and official notification content.
We use this information to deliver messages, support family and group functions, display related content, maintain message status, process family applications and requests, and keep these features safe and operational.
If you submit a report, we may collect and process the report details, the reported account, post, family, or chat content, the reason for the report, the time of submission, and any evidence you choose to provide through the reporting flow.
Depending on the report type, this evidence may include profile information, images, family information, message-related content, or other materials relevant to reviewing the report and enforcing our community and safety rules.
We use this information to investigate reports, review potential violations, enforce our policies, prevent abuse, and maintain the safety and integrity of Suya.
We use the information we collect to create and manage your account, display and update your profile, provide community features, display posts, review reports, handle violations, maintain service security and stability, and respond to support requests.
Your private journal content is primarily stored locally on your device unless a specific feature clearly indicates otherwise. Content that you choose to publish to the community square is uploaded to and stored on our servers so it can be displayed to other users.
If you delete your own post, it will no longer be publicly displayed after deletion is processed. We may retain limited related records, backups, or moderation logs for a reasonable period as necessary for security, abuse prevention, dispute handling, and legal compliance.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only with service providers or infrastructure partners as necessary to operate, host, secure, and maintain Suya.
